This app has been created by Elastico, winner of the premio Andersen literary award in 2015, for the non-profit affiliation IRC (Italian Resuscitation Council), as part of the Kids Save Lives project, supported by the World Health Organization, for the diffusion of fundamental first assist abilities to schoolchildren.

The story of Tum-Tum the Bear and the Squirrel Family is a playful way of conveying a fundamental concept: in case of cardiac arrest and choking, we can take action – certainly, we must! With a couple of simple steps: you just must be taught them, as quickly as potential, maybe through play. The Italian Resuscitation Council (IRC) is a non-profit scientific association that has been working intensively for years to show folks about CPR and cardiorespiratory emergencies. Since 2013, IRC has been organizing periodical awareness-raising campaigns across Italy: Viva! cardiopulmonary resuscitation week (www.settimanaviva.it).
